Just spent a delightful Christmas at Pousada Vistamar in Paraty, a true gem! The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and the great view complemented by lovely little monkey visitors made it a unique experience. The peaceful location right in front of Praia do Jabaquara Beach with charming restaurants nearby and a short walk to the historic center added to the hotel's charm. The personal attention from the friendly owners made me feel truly welcome. The Pousada Vistamar's year-round outdoor pool and sea views provided a tranquil escape. The rooms, simply styled with wooden furniture and tiled floors, were clean and cozy. I appreciated the private bathroom with a hot shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. During breakfast in the charming breakfast room, I could admire the lush garden and enjoy a selection of fresh fruits, breads, and sweets. The attentive staff and 24-hour front desk added to the seamless experience.Exploring Paraty's antique architecture and specialty stores was a treat, and the hotel's proximity to the beach and the historical center made it a convenient base for my adventures. The bonus of free WiFi in public areas was handy for staying connected.
